Tetlow Yard, Calderbrook, OL15 9QY
Location
Tetlow Yard is situated at Calderbrook, on the A6033
Littleborough to Todmorden Road. The nearest motorway junction is Junction 21 on
the M62. Tetlow Yard has recently been renamed Oak Terrace and is across the
road from The Huntsman public house at Summit. Map co-ordinates are (N53:39:47 W2:04:54). The following Ordnance Survey map

The above photos are of The Huntsman public house on
the opposite side of the road to Tetlow Yard. The photograph on the left
was taken whilst stood at the end of the alleyway which leads to Tetlow
Yard (now Oak Terrace). |

Walking down the alleyway there is a street sign for
Oak Terrace which opens out to the right (photo above). There is a row
of four houses (photo above right) on the left of the yard which face on
to some small allotments. On the right hand side of the yard there are a
couple more houses (photo right).
On the far side of the yard (over by the car / shed)
one can look down on to the Rochdale Canal. |
