Mary Shawcross married Benjamin Knowles at Ashton under Lyne
Parish Church on 2 May 1831. Mary’s parents were Thomas Shawcross and Sarah
Kershaw who married at Stockport on 3 May 1807. This is essentially all I know
about my Shawcross ancestors.
