Refers to a burgage in Manchester. One side recutes that Edward Berdisley leased it for 99 years to William Galley, and in 1507 Thomas Berdisley sold it to William Galley. William Galley rebuilt the property. Later Nicholas the executor of William Galley passed it to Elizabeth, the widow of William Galley providing she lived there. At a later date, Thomas Beck who had married Elizabeth Galey and Nicholas Galey sold it to Robert Laborer and he in turn passed it to Thomas Bekke for his life and then to pass to William son of Nicholas Galey. William Galey died then and Thomas his executor entered the property making William Draper his executor. However, John Tetlow who married the heir of Edmund Berdisley and Henry Cocker later now seized the possession. The other side claims the tenement was originally sold by Nicholas Deryal(?) to John Wood and Edmund Berdisley. Edmund died about 1525, his widow Agnes about 1526. Their heir was their daughter Agnes, wife of John Tetlow.
